JMDL Consulting Unveils Afro World Cup Tour 2026 to Showcase African Culture During FIFA World Cup in USA
The countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026 has officially taken an African turn as JMDL Consulting unveiled one of the most ambitious African entertainment and cultural projects ever planned around the World Cup in the United States — the Afro World Cup Tour (AWCT) 2026. The multi-city experience is already generating excitement across the African diaspora in America, entertainment circles in Nigeria, and among FIFA host city stakeholders in the United States. Designed as a fusion of football, culture, comedy, nightlife, food, music, faith, lifestyle, and African business exposure, AWCT aims to become the leading African fan engagement platform during the FIFA World Cup 2026 across major host cities including Houston, Dallas, New York/New Jersey, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, with plans for additional cities through promoters and strategic partners.
According to the Project Lead of AWCT, Lucky Eyo of JMDL Consulting, the initiative was created to showcase the best of African culture and lifestyle to global audiences visiting the United States during the World Cup. “This is bigger than football,” he explained. “We want visitors and residents in America to experience Africa beyond the stadiums — through our food, music, nightlife, fashion, comedy, churches, talents, groceries, businesses, and the unique energy Africans bring wherever they are in the world. AWCT is an African movement around the FIFA World Cup.” The event will feature live activities around stadium host cities, city tours, influencer experiences, nightlife activations, watch parties, comedy shows, culinary experiences, and interactive content streamed globally across AWCT platforms and social media handles.
In what is already being described as one of the boldest entertainment partnerships around the FIFA 2026 tournament, Nigerian internet sensation and entertainer Carter Efe has been selected to anchor the AWCT entertainment tour after what organizers described as “wide consultations, reviews, and strategic discussions” involving several top African performers. “The selection board carefully reviewed several entertainers before deciding on Carter Efe because of his energy, youth appeal, humor, influence, and ability to connect with audiences physically and digitally,” Lucky Eyo stated. Carter Efe will be joined by his support team and additional A-list Nigerian entertainers, musicians, comedians, influencers, and celebrities expected to join the lineup in phases.
One of the major highlights of the AWCT initiative will be the creation of a temporary live streaming studio in the United States where Carter Efe and his team will host some of the biggest African talents, business owners, creators, influencers, and personalities during the World Cup. The studio will produce live interviews, comedy sessions, fan reactions, celebrity interactions, and behind-the-scenes content throughout the tournament. “We are building a continuous African entertainment ecosystem during the World Cup,” said Lucky Eyo. “The idea is that when people think about the African World Cup experience in America, they think AWCT.”
The excitement around AWCT has also extended into official FIFA host city ecosystems in the United States. JMDL Consulting confirmed that several Local Organizing Committees (LOCs) connected to FIFA 2026 host cities have already engaged positively with the project. Organizers specifically mentioned encouraging responses and collaboration discussions with committees linked to Los Angeles, Houston, and Dallas. According to the organizers, many stakeholders see AWCT as an opportunity to amplify the atmosphere around the tournament while engaging African and diaspora communities across the host cities. The timing of FIFA 2026 alongside the USA250 celebration — commemorating 250 years of American independence — is also expected to create additional excitement, with AWCT planning to bring viewers live experiences from Washington, D.C., including fireworks and cultural celebrations tied to the national event.
Beyond football and nightlife, AWCT is also introducing community and faith-based experiences such as the “AWCT Praise Experience,” where African churches in selected U.S. cities will host short, high-energy praise sessions featuring influencers, performers, choirs, and youth engagement. Organizers say the initiative is intended to unite culture, faith, and entertainment in a positive way during the tournament season. The project will also include youth symposiums, entertainment mentoring opportunities, and talent discovery engagements aimed at connecting emerging African creatives with international exposure and business opportunities.
The entertainment and concert side of AWCT will be coordinated by I-Media Nigeria alongside UK-based event manager I-Mortal, who has previously coordinated large-scale international entertainment events and is expected to remain in the United States throughout the duration of the tour to oversee operations and live productions. Organizers disclosed that comedy shows, music performances, fan parties, and nightlife activations are already being planned in multiple cities, with several African clubs, restaurants, lounges, and entertainment venues registering interest to become official AWCT partner locations.
Perhaps one of the clearest signs of the excitement surrounding the tour is the response to the Houston event already scheduled for July 18, 2026, at the Dunham Theatre of Houston Christian University (HCU). Organizers disclosed that approximately 30 percent of tickets were sold within the first week of release, which they described as a strong indication of growing anticipation among Africans and non-Africans in the United States eager to experience the Carter Efe-led lineup and AWCT atmosphere. Additional venue announcements for Dallas, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and other cities are expected in the coming days.
The project is also expected to deliver substantial economic and media impact. AWCT projections indicate that the combined events across the United States core cities will generate huge revenue through events, nightlife activations, streaming partnerships, restaurant collaborations, sponsorships, and cultural experiences. Organizers estimate digital visibility of over 50 million impressions across social media, streaming platforms, blogs, entertainment websites, and influencer channels in both Africa and the United States. Brands across aviation, banking, telecommunications, food, nightlife, and consumer products sectors are reportedly already in discussions regarding sponsorship opportunities and integration into the tour experience.
JMDL Consulting, the organization behind AWCT, described the initiative as part of a broader vision to expand African talent, entertainment, and business visibility globally. The company, known for its operations in IT consulting, immigration services, taxation, and business advisory, says its entertainment division intends to become a major platform for showcasing emerging African talents internationally. “This is just the beginning,” Lucky Eyo noted. “AWCT is creating a new model where African culture travels with global events in a structured, media-driven way.”
As excitement builds toward FIFA World Cup 2026, AWCT is positioning itself as one of the most anticipated African-led experiences in the United States. From packed watch parties and comedy shows to nightlife activations, culinary showcases, celebrity collaborations, church praise experiences, city tours, and livestream studios, organizers insist the mission is simple — to ensure that Africans and lovers of African culture around the world do not just watch the World Cup, but truly experience it through the energy, creativity, and lifestyle of Africa. Event promoters, businesses, restaurants, churches, nightlife venues, and sponsors interested in participating in the tour across Houston, Dallas, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and additional cities are encouraged to contact the organizers.
