Toplorgical Unveils ‘TopSpace’ to Boost Productivity for Lagos Professionals

In a move to tackle the persistent challenges of unreliable power supply and poor internet connectivity, Toplorgical Ltd. has launched a new co-working space, TopSpace, in Lagos.
The facility, located in the Ogba axis, was unveiled during a recent facility tour by journalists and stakeholders.
Speaking at the event, the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Franklyn Olushola Frantos, said the initiative was inspired by the growing need for a stable and efficient work environment for professionals and small businesses.
According to him, the company initially set out to establish a fintech hub focused on developing software solutions for microfinance banks, fintech firms, and small enterprises.
However, the difficulty in securing reliable office space highlighted a broader problem affecting many professionals in Lagos.
“We discovered that beyond building technology, there was an urgent need to provide a space where people could work without worrying about electricity or internet disruptions,” he said.
Frantos noted that many freelancers, remote workers, and startups face significant productivity setbacks due to infrastructure challenges, often spending heavily on fuel, generators, solar power, and multiple data subscriptions.
TopsSpace, he explained, is designed to eliminate these burdens by offering a fully equipped workspace with stable electricity and high-speed internet. The facility features private offices, shared desks, meeting rooms, and open workstations tailored for both individual professionals and teams.
To ensure uninterrupted operations, the workspace is powered by a combination of grid electricity and solar-backed inverter systems, alongside high-speed internet services, including Starlink connectivity.
“We want to create an environment where people can focus on their work and meet deadlines without unnecessary interruptions,” he added.
The co-working space operates a flexible booking system, allowing users to reserve workspaces for daily or monthly use. The standard daily rate is set at ₦7,000 for about nine hours, with an introductory offer of ₦5,000 to encourage early adoption.
TopSpace will run from Monday to Saturday, while Sundays are set aside for maintenance.
Beyond providing workspace, the company also plans to introduce additional services such as technical support and content creation studios to support Nigeria’s growing digital and creative economy.
He emphasised that the initiative aligns with the company’s broader vision of strengthening Nigeria’s fintech ecosystem by providing the infrastructure needed for businesses to thrive.
As Nigeria’s economy continues to expand, TopsSpace is expected to offer a practical solution for professionals seeking a reliable and cost-effective alternative to working from home.
