NCDMB, Bellazir Successfully Conclude Training

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in collaboration with Bellazir Energy Limited has successfully concluded a training programme on Steel Welding and Fabrication for 50 youths in Abia State.

The training, which is part of NCDMB’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youths with skills in various trades, saw participants from different backgrounds and skill levels come together to learn and acquire new skills.

The closing ceremony was attended by Operations Manager or Bellazir Limited, David Daniels, who expressed his gratitude to NCDMB for the opportunity given to their company to train the youths.

“We are honoured to partner with NCDMB on this initiative, and we are proud of the progress made by the participants. We urge the board to keep it up, as this kind of training will go a long way in empowering Nigerian youths and making them self-reliant,” Daniel said.

Daniel also praised President Bola Tinubu for his support to NCDMB and its initiatives. “We are grateful to Mr. President for his unwavering support to NCDMB and its efforts to develop the skills of Nigerian youths,” he said.

The participants were full of praise for the organizers, citing the comprehensive nature of the training and the dedication of the facilitators. They expressed their gratitude to NCDMB and Bellazir Limited for providing them with the opportunity to acquire new skills and enhance their employability.

The training on Welding and Fabrication was designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to work in the welding and fabrication industry. The programme covered various aspects of welding and fabrication, including safety protocols, equipment handling, and project design and execution.

The successful conclusion of this training program is a demonstration of NCDMB’s commitment to developing the skills of Nigerian youths and promoting self-reliance. It is expected that the skills acquired by the participants will enable them to start their own welding and fabrication businesses or secure employment in the industry.
