The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is facing a fresh internal crisis as Senator Iyiola Omisore, has dragged the party to the Federal High Court over the conduct of the party’s governorship primaries in the state.
Omisore was one of the APC gubernatorial Aspirants before he was disqualified along side others shortly before the primary.
However, the disqualification had caused a lot of discomfort, disunity, and had disrupted the party international democracy in Osun State.
The development has further heightened tensions within the party, raising concerns over the stability of the APC ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State.
THISDAY recalled that recently, the Elders caucus of the party visited Omisore in his home town Ife, in an efforts to douse the tension and bring back the senator to the APC fold of the APC leader and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.
