Amb. Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari Empowers 150 Beneficiaries with Entrepreneurial Skills in Jigawa

In a continued demonstration of her commitment to grassroots empowerment and sustainable economic development, Amb. Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari, through the Nana Halima Empowerment Initiative, recently facilitated a 5-day intensive makeup training for 150 beneficiaries in Jigawa State.

The training provided participants with hands-on experience in modern makeup techniques, client management, and industry best practices. Beyond technical skills, the initiative was intentionally designed to build confidence, promote self-reliance, and equip beneficiaries with the entrepreneurial mindset required to succeed in today’s competitive market.

To further support their transition into business ownership, participants were presented with startup kits and certificates of completion. They also received practical guidance on branding, advertising, and leveraging various media platforms to effectively promote their products and services.
