Nike Adeyemi Empowers Teen Girls at Get Up 2.0 Conference

Dedicated to transforming lives and fostering a resilient mindset, the Real Woman Foundation, founded by Pastor Nike Adeyemi, recently hosted the second edition of the ‘Get Up’ Girl conference at Regal Hall, Ikeja. Addressing girls aged 12–19, Pastor Adeyemi introduced a “Personal Toolkit for Success” designed to help teenagers overcome challenges and reach their full potential. The event was proudly supported by major sponsor Unilever, who provided the attendees with Pepsodent toothpaste and Rexona roll-on products to support their personal hygiene and confidence.

During the session, Pastor Nike emphasized the power of gratitude, growth, and grace, urging the girls to develop emotional intelligence and avoid the trap of comparison. She highlighted the importance of tenacity and understanding one’s value through God’s word, advising the attendees to prioritize prayer, peace, and patience. “Love yourself and light others,” she encouraged, noting that when girls understand their worth, they are empowered to share what they know and help others rise.

The conference also focused on practical leadership and life skills, her reminding the girls that “readers are leaders”. She urged them to be intentional about what they read both online and offline while maintaining healthy boundaries in their social lives. From communication and money skills to nutrition and the healthy use of social media, the event provided a holistic roadmap for the next generation. The day concluded with a vibrant mix of music, refreshments, and a Q&A session, reinforcing the foundation’s mission to provide teenagers with a head start through early intervention.
