Danruwatan Gwandu Empowers 300 Beneficiaries with Over N30 Million in Kebbi

Alh. Idris Shuaibu, the Danruwantan Gwandu of Kebbi State has kicked-off his annual empowerment program in Bagudo Local Government area of Kebbi State.

The event which drew notable figures from across Kebbi State’s political and economic landscape, is geared towards ensuring that residents in Bagudo Local Government area in Kebbi State, enjoy the undiluted dividends of democracy and the Renewed Hope Agenda of Pres. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as personified by the goodwill of Alh. Idris Shuaibu.

The proposed number of recipients earmarked to benefit from this year’s empower program from the office of the Danruwantan Gwandu of Kebbi State, is projected at 1,000 by the end of January 2026, but the numbers have risen to over 300 persons as at the time of this report.

Some of the beneficiaries of the empowerment program expressed their joy at Alh. Idris Shuaibu’s benevolent foresight, which has constantly been a means of sustenance for them, as they prayed for Allah’s blessings upon him. They promised to also utilize the free grants for worthy sustainable ventures.

The Danruwantan Gwandu of Kebbi State, Alh. Idris Shuaibu, also conveyed deep gratitude to every stakeholder who were present, in spite of their demanding personal schedule. Amongst the dignitaries present at the event were Hon. Bello Kaoje member representing Bagudo/Suru constituency in the 10th National Assembly, Muhammed Samaila Deputy Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, representing Bagudo East constituency at the Kebbi State Legislature, Hon. Sani Abubakar Lolo, member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly (representing Bagudo West, and Chairmen and Chairpersons of diverse socio-political groups.

In his words; “my gratitude is beyond words, it knows no bounds…for everyone who came to show their support for my empowerment program, both from within Kebbi State, and outside, I am grateful for your presence, and I promise to do more for my people”.

While vowing to ensure that no resident in Bagudo Local Government Area, would be left out in all his various empowerment programs, the Danruwantan Gwandu requested the residents to keep faith with God and with the government. He also assured them of better days to come in the future.

Alh. Idris Shuaibu is the Coordinator, Tinubu Kauran Tinubu (TKT), Bagudo Local Government, Kebbi State and Treasurer Matan. He’s also the Coordinator of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Kebbi State.

Through his dedicated humanitarian efforts, Alh. Idris Shuaibu has also succinctly gone the entire mile towards ensuring an endearing legacy for the administration of the Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Nasiru Idris Kaura, under whose tenure he has continued to empower his people.

Alh. Idris Shuaibu complimented the Governor of Kebbi State, for his genuine support towards his empowerment programs and to the people of Bagudo Federal Constituency.
