Harley and Wall Signs MoU with Nexford University to Expand Healthcare Business Education in Nigeria

Harley and Wall Business and Healthcare Consulting, in partnership with D’BusinessDoctor Mentorship Academy, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Nexford University, a fully online, degree-granting institution based in Washington, DC, to expand US-accredited healthcare management education to healthcare practitioners in Nigeria.

The partnership is designed to address gaps in leadership, management and business skills within Nigeria’s healthcare sector by enabling practitioners to earn internationally recognised US degrees without relocating abroad, resigning from their roles or interrupting their professional practice.

Through the partnership, eligible participants can pursue the MBA with specialization in Healthcare Management and other relevant healthcare pathways in a fully online, self-paced format that allows them to continue working while studying.

The MoU restates Harley and Wall Business and Healthcare Consulting’s long-standing focus on medical business education and leadership development, and represents a step forward toward building a pipeline of healthcare leaders capable of combining clinical expertise with strong management and entrepreneurial competencies.

Speaking on the partnership, the Chief Executive Officer of Harley and Wall Business and Healthcare Consulting and founder of D’BusinessDoctor Mentorship Academy, Dr. Ademolu Owoyele, said the collaboration was designed to remove long-standing barriers to global education for healthcare professionals.

He explained that healthcare practitioners should not have to choose between career advancement and access to internationally relevant qualifications, noting that the partnership creates a pathway for professionals to build leadership capacity, business acumen and globally recognised credentials while remaining active in their work and communities.

On his part, Mr. Uwem Ekanem, Country and Regional Director at Nexford University, said the partnership aligns with Nexford’s goal of expanding access to career-relevant education for working professionals globally.

He noted that the flexible, fully online model makes it possible for healthcare practitioners to earn internationally recognised qualifications while remaining active in their jobs and communities, adding that strengthening healthcare leadership and management capacity is critical to building more sustainable health systems in Nigeria and across the region.

Under the collaboration, holders of the Healthcare Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Management Programme (H-LEMP) certificate, alongside alumni of the D’BusinessDoctor Mentorship Academy, are eligible for streamlined access to Nexford University’s programmes, including its MBA with specialisation in Healthcare Management.

The university also offers MBA tracks in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, International Business and Sustainability, as well as master’s degrees in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, delivered through a fully online and flexible learning model tailored to working professionals.

Beyond individual career advancement, the partnership is expected to support broader capacity-building efforts within Nigeria’s healthcare system by improving managerial competence, organisational sustainability and leadership effectiveness across healthcare institutions.

Applications under the partnership are processed through a trackable admissions link provided by Nexford University, with enrolment guidance and further details communicated through Harley and Wall Business and Healthcare Consulting’s official channels.
