Nigeria’s Collins Idahosa, Vice President of NYCN Diaspora, Delivers Powerful New Year Message to Nigerian Youth

As the clock struck midnight on December 31st, 2025, and the world welcomed the year 2026, Collins Idahosa, Vice President of NYCN Diaspora and esteemed Nigeria Glober Award Winner, 2024-2025, based in Sweden, extended a heartfelt and thought-provoking New Year message to the Nigerian youth. In a statement that has sent shockwaves of hope and determination across the nation, Idahosa called on the Federal Government to prioritize the youth in all national agendas, recognizing that the youth are the future leaders and driving force of the nation. “It is imperative that we reject violence and work collectively towards a prosperous Nigeria,” he declared.
The NYCN Diaspora Vice President urged the youth to be the catalysts for positive change, promoting peace, unity, and progress in the country. “To all Nigerian youth, let us be the change we desire to see in our nation. Let us work together to build a brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come,” he said. Idahosa also had a special message for Nigerian youth in the diaspora, urging them to remain focused and committed to their goals despite current challenges. “Don’t let current challenges distract you from your goals. Stay engaged, stay committed, and believe that the situation will improve. Your contributions are vital to Nigeria’s growth!” he emphasized.
In a surprise move, Idahosa also extended warm congratulations to Mr. Seyi Tinubu on receiving the prestigious 40 chieftaincy title in Boston.
“May this honor bring joy and recognition to the First Family of Nigeria,” he wished. As NYCN Diaspora prepares to propel Nigeria forward, Idahosa reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to its purpose: uniting Nigerian youth, promoting national development, and empowering the next generation of leaders. “We reaffirm our commitment to this purpose and call on all Nigerian youth, at home and in the diaspora, to join us in propelling Nigeria forward!” he declared.
