Hon. Mohammed Inuwa Bassi Procures 100 Copies of Empowerment Book to Support Youth Development in Adamawa
Abuja, Nigeria
Honourable Mohammed Inuwa Bassi, Member of the Federal House of Representatives for the Mayo-Belwa/Jada/Ganye/Toungo Federal Constituency in Adamawa State, has taken a significant step toward supporting youth development in his constituency. The lawmaker recently procured 100 copies of the inspirational book “Navigating Life’s Difficult Terrain with Grit, Resolve, and Determination,” authored by Prince DOH NGALAM, to empower young people and foster intellectual growth in the region.
The book, which focuses on resilience, self-belief, discipline, and purposeful living, is aimed at equipping youth and emerging leaders with the mental tools needed to overcome life’s challenges and achieve success. Hon. Bassi emphasized the importance of knowledge and mindset development as a core part of his ongoing youth empowerment initiatives.
“Empowering our youth intellectually is just as critical as providing them with skills and opportunities. This book carries values that can inspire resilience, responsibility, and leadership among our people,” Hon. Bassi said, underscoring the role of intellectual growth in the face of social and economic challenges.
The 100 copies of the book will be distributed to youths, students, and community beneficiaries across the federal constituency as part of Hon. Bassi’s broader commitment to education, youth development, and human capital growth. The initiative is seen as a positive contribution to the community’s long-term social transformation, aligning with the lawmaker’s vision for a more empowered and capable future generation.
Author Prince DOH NGALAM expressed his gratitude for the gesture, calling it a “visionary step” towards sustainable empowerment. “When leaders invest in ideas and values, they invest in the future. I sincerely appreciate Hon. Mohammed Inuwa Bassi for believing in the power of knowledge and for choosing to uplift his constituents through this initiative,” Ngalam said.
The move has been widely praised by local stakeholders, with many seeing it as a model of impactful, long-term leadership that prioritizes both education and social change.
