Rivers National Assembly Caucus Condoles With Rep Abiante over Wife’s Death

Members of Rivers State Caucus in the National Assembly have extended their heartfelt condolences to their colleague and member representing Andoni/Opobo-Nkoro Federal Constituency of Rivers State in the House of Representatives, Rep. Awaji-Inombek Dagomie Abiante, following the death of his beloved wife, Agnes Nwakaewgo Abiante.

In a statement jointly signed by Senator Barry Mpigi, Senator Allwell Onyesoh, Senator Ipalibo Harry-Banigo, Rt. Hon. Kingsley Chinda (Minority Leader, House of Representatives), Rt. Hon. Dumnamene Dekor, Rep. Solomon Bob, Rep. Boniface Emerengwa, Rep. Boma Goodhead, Rep. Felix Nwaeke, Rep. Kelechi Nwogu, Rep. Cyril Hart, Rep. Victor Obuzor, Rep. Blessing Amadi, Rep. Anderson Igbiks, and Rep. Manuchim Umezuruike, the caucus members described the deceased as a remarkable woman who touched countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and strength.

The statement read: “We, the Rivers State Caucus in the National Assembly, extend our deepest condolences to you, our dear brother, Rep. Awaji-Inombek Dagomie Abiante, PhD, Ffs, MNIFST, CFSN, JP, member representing Andoni/Opobo-Nkoro Federal Constituency of Rivers State, during this profoundly difficult time.

“The loss of your beloved wife; Late Mrs Agnes Nwakaewgo Abiante, is an unimaginable sorrow, and our hearts ache for you as you navigate this painful journey.

“Her warmth, kindness, and strength were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her; she was a remarkable woman who touched countless lives.

“Please know that you are not alone in your grief. We are here to support you in any way you need. As you honour her memory, may you find comfort in the love and cherished moments you shared together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the children she left behind.”

The lawmakers prayed for Rep. Abiante and his family, urging them to find comfort in the love and cherished moments they shared with the deceased.
