In a rapidly evolving creative economy, Ncourage Photo-creative Studio and Academy, founded by Nigerian visual artist Muegbeyogho Nosakhare Courage, is redefining how young photographers learn, create, and enter the industry.
Courage’s journey began in 2017, in his final year at the University of Benin, where a growing fascination for visual storytelling set him on a path that would later reshape many young creatives’ careers. By 2019, he transformed that passion into a structured enterprise—officially registering his brand and expanding it into a studio, academy, and creative hub known today as Ncourage Photo-creative Studio and Academy.
His work, grounded in culture, beauty, portraiture, and fine-art storytelling, has gained recognition for its depth and artistic precision. But it is his commitment to teaching and mentorship that has made his brand influential across Nigeria’s creative landscape.
Through his academy, Courage has trained over 100 aspiring photographers, equipping them with technical skills, business knowledge, and storytelling principles essential for building sustainable creative careers. His training initiatives have been featured in national and community programs, including:
• Visual storytelling workshops supported by the Akwa Ibom State Government
• Public-service training at the John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Academy
• Creative development sessions at the GAM Summit, Innovate Africa Summit, and multiple entrepreneurship bootcamps
• Photography and media coaching for faith-based organizations and youth groups
His national impact is further reflected in his participation in more than 20 conferences and workshops, both locally and internationally. From the World Photography Day Conference, where he served as Planning Committee Chairman, to global learning platforms in Manchester and Toronto, Courage continues to amplify Nigerian creativity on international stages.
In recognition of his influence and dedication, he has received several creative awards and nominations, underscoring his role as a catalyst for emerging talent in visual arts.
Looking forward, Courage is preparing for a major milestone—his solo photography exhibition scheduled for 2026, which will showcase years of visual research and artistic evolution. Additionally, his upcoming UK workshops aim to strengthen cross-cultural creative collaboration while expanding access to visual-arts education for young Africans abroad.
With a brand built on storytelling, empowerment, and community, Ncourage Photo-creative Studio and Academy is positioning itself as a leading force in shaping the next generation of visual artists—locally, nationally, and globally.
It’s also important to note that Ncourage academy is NABTEB approved under the National Skill Qualification (NSQ)
