TY Logistics Park FZE Set to Transform Nigeria’s Supply Chain with First Grade-A Logistics Hub

After decades of underinvestment and chronic inefficiencies in Nigeria’s logistics sector, a bold new solution is taking shape in Lagos. TY Logistics Park FZE, a 29,000 square meter, 44,000-pallet capacity logistics platform, is launching inside the Lekki Free Zone. Designed as Nigeria’s first Grade-A, purpose-built Free Zone logistics facility, the Park combines real-time digital operations, bonded warehousing, customs integration, and sector-specific logistics into one seamless, end-to-end 3PL solution.

According to a senior executive at TY Logistics, the Park is more than a warehouse; it is a long-overdue solution to a national infrastructure challenge. “Every delivery delay, every broken cold chain, every missed shelf date hurts African businesses. TY Logistics Park was built to change that narrative permanently.”

At full capacity, the facility will operate at performance levels previously unseen in Nigeria. Palletized goods that typically take four hours to offload will be processed in just 15 to 20 minutes. Non-palletized goods, which usually require up to six hours, will be handled in as little as 45 to 90 minutes, thanks to specialized docking systems that allow direct container access. Inventory will be received into the system within 10 to 15 minutes, complete with pallet labeling and real-time reporting. Stock will be made instantly available for sale or cross-docking, minimizing warehouse dwell time. The facility’s advanced material handling equipment will support a putaway rate of 40 pallets per hour, while order dispatch will align with world-class benchmarks.

The Park is powered by a fully integrated Warehouse Management System that delivers real-time visibility, 99.99 percent inventory accuracy, and advanced tracking of goods, staff, and equipment. All operations are monitored 24/7 through a CCTV control room and managed by trained personnel operating under globally aligned procedures that prioritize safety, speed, and accuracy.

TY Logistics Park is built to serve a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. Its infrastructure includes bonded and temperature-controlled warehousing, smart racking systems, automated docking, embedded fleet management, import and export processing, and hub-and-spoke distribution. Its location near the Lekki Deep Sea Port and the upcoming international airport enables unmatched multimodal access to inland and coastal markets.

The launch of this facility comes at a critical time. Nigeria’s $15 billion logistics market is hampered by outdated infrastructure and a shortage of reliable third-party solutions. According to the World Bank, inefficiencies in Nigeria’s logistics systems result in an additional 40 percent of costs for businesses. TY Logistics Park aims to directly address this by removing friction across every point in the supply chain.

The facility has been built with long-term resilience, scale, and sustainability in mind. It is EDGE-certified and solar-ready, uses daylight-optimized roofing to reduce energy costs, and is powered by electric material handling equipment. Beyond infrastructure, TY Logistics is also investing in talent development through academic partnerships and training programs designed to strengthen Nigeria’s logistics workforce.

Client onboarding is already underway, and full operations are scheduled to begin in Q3 2025. TY Logistics Park FZE is expected to serve as a critical regional logistics backbone for both multinational supply chains and high-growth African businesses. Its modular design and systems-driven model make it adaptable to multi-industry demand and scalable growth.

“Africa doesn’t lack potential. It has lacked the infrastructure to realize it. TY Logistics Park is our answer, designed to help African businesses compete, grow, and lead,” the company stated.

TY Logistics Park FZE is West Africa’s first purpose-built, Grade-A Free Zone contract logistics facility. Located in the Lekki Free Zone, it delivers international-standard warehousing, inventory management, and 3PL services with a focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and regional access.
