17th Global ELOY Awards Shines Spotlight on Exceptional Women and Male Allies

The 17th Global ELOY Awards has been hailed as a resounding success, celebrating women and men who are driving transformation across various industries in Nigeria and beyond.

Held under the theme “The Year of the Confidently Audacious Woman,” the awards recognized outstanding achievements in entrepreneurship, media, creative arts, wellness, agriculture, finance, technology, and nation-building.

The ceremony honored leading women who are breaking barriers and building legacies, as well as male allies who are championing gender equality and women’s empowerment. Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, who received the ELOY HE4SHE Award, is a testament to the impact that men can have in supporting women’s rights and empowerment.

Other notable winners included Victory Wilson, celebrated as the ELOY Event Host of the Year for her captivating stage presence and professionalism; Dr. Kate Isa, recipient of the ELOY Recognition Award for Science and Innovation for her leadership in laboratory innovation and science education; and Adaora Akojuru (Beta Agric) and Affiong Williams (Reel Fruits), who both took home the ELOY Award for Agriculture/Agropreneur for their outstanding contributions to the agricultural value chain.

The 17th Global ELOY Awards was a celebration of excellence, visibility, empowerment, and community. The event recognized outstanding achievers across multiple categories, including print journalism, tech innovation, humanitarian leadership, creative arts, wellness advocacy, and fashion.
