MTN Nigeria Secures Four Wins at 2025 Consumers Value Awards

MTN Nigeria Communications PLC has won four awards across critical operational and social responsibility areas at the Consumers Value Awards (CVA) 2025.

The CVA, with the theme”Beyond Prices: Consumer Trust, Digital Experience & Brand Accountability,” which was organised by BrandXchange, was held last week at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State.

The awards further solidified MTN Nigeria’s position as a consumer favourite and an industry leader.

The awards that were won by MTN Nigeria include the Best Green Energy Adoption by a Company; the Best Customer Service Telecoms Brand; the Most Reliable Internet Service Provider and the Best CSR Initiative by a Corporate Brand (MTN Foundation).

Commenting on the awards, the Chief Customer Relations and Experience Officer, MTN Nigeria Communications PLC, Ugonwa Nwoye, said: “These awards stand as proof of our customers’ trust and loyalty, which remain at the core of all that we do.

According to MTN, the sheer volume of consumer votes – 53 per cent for
Green Energy Adoption and 54 per cent for Customer Service validated its strategic focus on the Nigerian consumer.

“Winning the Most Reliable Internet Service Provider award further confirms that the heavy investment in network infrastructure and technology is translating directly into stable, high-quality connectivity for millions of subscribers, which is paramount in today’s digital economy,” MTN Nigeria said.

It added that the award for Best Green Energy Adoption highlighted the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
“This recognition comes from a consumer base that is increasingly conscious of corporate accountability and the imperative of a sustainable future.
“MTN’s initiative to power its extensive network with cleaner energy sources demonstrates a strategic, long-term approach to minimising its carbon footprint, an effort that clearly resonates with its customers and positions the company as a leader in responsible business in Nigeria,” it said.
