Nigerian Filmmaker, Aareola, Strengthens Professional Portfolio with International Certification

In an increasingly competitive film and digital media landscape, Nigerian filmmaker, Tomiwa Tobiloba Aareola, is positioning himself as a global professional as he bags Irish Filmmaking Certification.

Aareola began his media career at Nigeria’s HipTV where he acquired experience in directing, editing, and visual production.

His portfolio now includes commercial shoots, documentaries, and music videos, alongside collaborations with high-impact digital creators like Sam Newton, Karl Shakur, and Lobos Films. These projects have contributed to his online recognition and expanded his professional network.

In 2020, Aareola made a strategic move to Ireland to further his career through academic training at DkIT. During his programme, he engaged in technical coursework and collaborative productions, while contributing to award-nominated films such as Lies of Envy and The Forgotten Griever.
