The Secretary of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), FCT Chapter, and Chief Executive Officer of Nests and Nails Nigeria Limited, Dr. Oladipupo Akinkunmi, has congratulated Oba Akintoye Felix Adeoye on his official installation as the new Olu-Oke of Oke-Igbo by the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Dr. Akinkunmi described the installation as “a new dawn for Oke-Igbo Kingdom”, commending both the Ondo State Government and the kingmakers for their commitment to due process, peace, and justice in resolving the long-drawn traditional dispute that surrounded the stool.

He said, “I heartily congratulate His Royal Majesty, Oba Akintoye Felix Adeoye, on this historic appointment as the Olu-Oke of Oke-Igbo. This moment marks not only the restoration of a revered traditional institution but also a renewed hope for unity, peace, and progress among the people of Oke-Igbo.”

Dr. Akinkunmi praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and steadfast commitment to grassroots development and cultural preservation, noting that the transparent selection process reflected the governor’s respect for the rule of law and traditional values.

He also lauded the new monarch for his immediate show of compassion and inclusivity through his empowerment gesture to women traders in the community, describing it as a demonstration of true leadership rooted in service.

“As Kabiyesi begins this divine journey, I pray for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance to steer the affairs of Oke-Igbo Kingdom toward lasting peace and prosperity. May your reign bring unity and renewed development to your people,” Dr. Akinkunmi added.

The REDAN Secretary further urged the people of Oke-Igbo to rally around their monarch, setting aside past divisions and working collectively for the progress of the kingdom.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, during the official presentation of the Instrument of Appointment and Staff of Office, had charged the monarch to promote peace and unity, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to security, infrastructure development, and empowerment across Ondo State.

The ceremony, attended by top government officials, traditional rulers, and community leaders, was described as a significant milestone in the restoration of traditional leadership in Oke-Igbo after years of vacancy.
