Segun Gabriel Adewumi, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs Lead Trail of Excellence At Peace Achievers Awards 2025
Visionary entrepreneur Segun Gabriel Adewumi and revered business mogul Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs are among the high-profile honourees set to shine at the 2025 Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards, organised by the Peace Ambassadors Agency.
This year’s event, themed “Peace Building Through Sectoral Partnerships: Public and Private Sector Collaboration,” will take place on November 8, 2025, at the iconic Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, from 5 p.m.
Now marking its 15th edition, the prestigious Peace Achievers Awards will feature the presentation of the Honorary Award from American Management University, California, USA, as well as the celebrated Peace Icon Awards, given to individuals whose leadership, philanthropy, and innovation have advanced peace and national development across Africa.
According to Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, Project Director (Africa), Peace Ambassadors Agency, this 15th anniversary edition celebrates a decade and a half of promoting peace, youth empowerment, and sustainable partnerships across Nigeria and the continent.
“We are honouring people who are not just successful, but significant — those using their platforms to build peace and strengthen communities. The Peace Achievers Awards remain a merit-based recognition of genuine impact and leadership, regardless of ethnicity or faith,” Amafibe stated.
He further noted that the evening will be filled with music, comedy, fashion exhibitions, and several exciting side attractions, making it a perfect blend of entertainment, inspiration, and honour.

For over 15 years, the Peace Ambassadors Agency has used proceeds from the awards to fund impactful projects such as Peace Education Campaigns, Health Outreach Initiatives, Back-to-School Drives, and Human Capacity Development Programs — all geared toward strengthening peace and complementing government efforts at various levels.
