Prof. Imumolen Hails New Olubadan, Wishes Him Successful Reign

Prof. Chris Imumolen, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Accord Party has joined well-wishers in celebrating the 81st birthday and coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja.

Prof. Imumolen, a strong respecter of the traditional institution and close ally of the Olubadan described the monarch as a symbol of wisdom and peace, praying that his reign would bring divine favour and blessings to the ancient city.

In a congratulatory message on Saturday, Prof. Imumolen a strong advocate of good governance and youth inclusion said the new Olubadan has demonstrated his capacity to lead aright right from his days as Governor of the state.

“On this historic occasion of your 81st birthday celebration and coronation, I heartily celebrate Your Imperial Majesty. Your reign will no doubt be a blessing of wisdom, peace, and divine favor to our land. Long may you live, Kabiyesi,” Prof. Imumolen said.

He shares common traits with the Olubadan in terms of investing in the future of young people by creating a conducive environment for them to thrive.

Not long ago, Prof. Imumolen built and donated a fully furnished library to the Lugbe community in the Federal Capital Territory, a project that has been widely commended as a boost to literacy and learning in the area.

Through his Prof. Chris Imumolen (PCI) Foundation, he has extended scholarships to thousands of Nigerian youths and students in neighbouring countries, helping them acquire quality education and professional skills.
