Kano Emirate Congratulates His Highness Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, CON, on the Award of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The Kano Emirate Council extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, CON, Sarkin Kano, on his recent conferment of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law by the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. His doctoral thesis, “Codification of Islamic Family Law as an Instrument of Social Reform: A Case Study of the Emirate of Kano and Comparison with the Kingdom of Morocco,” exemplifies his lifelong commitment to scholarship, reform, and service to humanity.

This outstanding achievement is a source of immense pride to the Emirate, the people of Kano, and Nigeria at large. It reaffirms our nation’s global reputation for producing visionary leaders grounded in knowledge and wisdom.
