Outbox Experience Set to Transform Fashion Into Commerce Across the Continent
With social impact led by Outbox Care Initiative, Fashion Fusion Africa 2025 targets fashion commerce, brand development, and pan-African trade linkages.
The African fashion industry is about to witness a seismic shift as Fashion Fusion Africa (FFA) 2025 prepares to take centre stage this October in Abuja, Nigeria. Backed by strategic partnerships and technical support from Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, the project is spearheaded by Outbox Experience and its social impact arm, Outbox Care Initiative (OCI).
The recently held Casting Call and Grand Unveiling, hosted at Soul Lounge Resorts Abuja, drew over 300 models, industry stakeholders, and top government officials, setting the tone for what promises to be Africa’s most dynamic fashion-commerce ecosystem.
According to Joshua Agu, Chairman of OCI and MD of Outbox Experience, “This is not just a fashion show. Fashion Fusion Africa is a gateway to trade, investment, and strategic branding for African designers and businesses. We’ve worked with over 50 brands, produced 7 major business fairs and trade exhibitions, and we’re proud to be launching this pan-African vision from Nigeria.”
FFA 2025 is expected to host 40 designers, 100 SMEs, and thousands of attendees, from across Africa, positioning itself as a B2B marketplace for partnerships between brands, investors, buyers, manufacturers, and media. The event is on the 18th and 19th of October 2025 in Abuja Nigeria.
Ifechukwu Ojukwu, Branding Director at Outbox Experience, added: “This is the only event of its kind with storytelling and trade at its core. Our partnership with Obitaris and others will offer designers more than visibility—it offers business longevity.”
