Young Adult Film ‘Lowkey Adults’ to Premiere on YouTube July 12

‘Lowkey Adults’, a new young adult film written by Fatimah Binta Gimsay and executive produced by Gimsay alongside Susan Ganchung Pwajok, is set to premiere on July 12, 2025, exclusively on YouTube via SusanPwajokTV.

A heartfelt and humorous coming-of-age story, the movie follows Jaiyeola Funtua, who, reeling from heartbreak, makes a daring bet to win over her ex’s mysterious rival, Hamza Bello.
As her tight-knit group of friends gets pulled into the chaos, the crew stumbles through love, loss, and laughter in a messy but relatable journey into adulthood.

The film, according to its producers, is a collaboration between some of the most exciting young voices in Nigerian storytelling.

Directed by Fatimah Binta Gimsay and Stephanie Dadet, it features a talented cast led by Susan Ganchung Pwajok, alongside Shamz Garuba, Adeoluwa Akintoba, Mallum Arik, and Omosalewa Fafowora.
