The Future of Tech Roles in the African Ecosystem: Insights from Technology Expert, Adeiza Suleman

By Ugo Aliogo

In the rapidly evolving global digital economy, few figures are as influential as Adeiza Suleman. A visionary EdTech leader, Adeiza has spent over a decade building a platform and pathways for thousands of individuals, many with no prior tech background, to enter and thrive in multiple technology careers. Adeiza is pivotal in equipping the African workforce for the demands of a highly competitive global tech industry.

His work stands at the intersection of education, technology, and impact, redefining how professionals are trained and launched into the tech industry.

Adeiza’s foray into the technology ecosystem as a Data Analyst began during his time at FITC, a financial services firm owned by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Bankers’ Committee. Tasked with delivering insights for NNPC, Nigeria’s largest integrated oil and gas company, he experienced firsthand the power of data in shaping strategic decisions. That moment sparked a passion that led him to immerse himself in Data Analytics, then Data Science and Engineering, and eventually into Ed-Tech and workforce development.

Today, Adeiza is the Founder of 10Alytics and Co-founder of Amdari, two EdTech companies that are closing the gap between technical skills and employability. 10Alytics provides training in high-demand fields like Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analysis, Data Engineering, Financial Analytics, HR Analytics, Agile Project Management, and Cybersecurity, while Amdari connects learners and skilled persons to real-world experience through internships, apprenticeships, and job placement support. The goal? To ensure every learner is not only technically sound but also job ready.

“The future of tech roles is incredibly promising around the world,” Adeiza shares. “But it’s not enough to focus solely on technical skills, we must also empower professionals with the strategies and support they need to navigate the job market and showcase their value effectively.”

What truly sets Adeiza apart is his holistic and impact-driven approach to career transformation. With a proven track record of helping over 50,000 individuals successfully transition into global careers across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Africa, Adeiza’s work goes far beyond conventional teaching methods.

He understands that landing a role in today’s competitive job market requires more than just acquiring technical skills, it demands strategic positioning, self-presentation, and the confidence to navigate complex hiring processes. That’s why his programs are intentionally designed to support learners at every stage of their journey. Learners benefit from CV reviews, LinkedIn optimization, personalised mentorship, and job navigation strategies that turn potential into placement. Many who would have taken two years to land their first role now do so in as little as six to eight months.

His own track record in industry is equally impressive. During his tenure at Sahara Power Group, he spearheaded the implementation of a cloud-based database with real-time data pipelines to monitor customer energy consumption. This system significantly reduced energy losses by identifying anomalies, ultimately minimising business losses. Adeiza also led the development of a centralised data warehouse integrating multiple data sources to create a single source of truth for the Energy Department, streamlining analysis and reporting. Additionally, he led the deployment of Data Analytics solutions, including a Peer-to-Peer industry analysis, which contributed to reducing Aggregate Technical, Commercial, and Collection losses and also gaining insights on industry competitors – improving overall business performance.

But beyond the numbers is a heart for inclusion. Adeiza launched the Women in Tech initiative at 10Alytics in 2022, providing scholarships and opportunities to over 600 women. He believes tech must be a space where everyone, regardless of background, has a fair shot.

Holding a First Class degree in Industrial Chemistry from Bahri University and a Master’s in Science and Technology from the University of Bradford (UK), Adeiza complements his technical skills with strong academic grounding. He is also a Certified Training Professional, accredited by the Finance Accreditation Agency in Malaysia, which is a testament to his dedication to delivering world-class education.

Looking ahead, Adeiza remains steadfast in his mission to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: the global shortage of skilled tech talent. He recognizes that the future of work is being shaped by rapid advancements in data analytics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and project management—not as fleeting trends, but as the foundational pillars of the global digital economy.

Adeiza believes the solution lies in unlocking untapped potential, particularly across emerging markets. He sees Africa not just as a participant in this global shift, but as a powerful engine of innovation and talent. “Careers in tech are future-proof,” he says. “Our mission is to prepare people not just for today’s jobs, but for the workforce of tomorrow.”

When he’s not building solutions or mentoring students, Adeiza unwinds through fiction, movies, and travel. A self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, he finds creativity and calm in the ritual of brewing, a reflection of his precise yet imaginative approach to work.

Through 10Alytics and Amdari, Adeiza Suleman is doing more than equipping people with tech skills. He’s building a dynamic, resilient, and inclusive future, one learner, one breakthrough, one opportunity at a time.
