Lagos, Nigeria—In a landmark move set to unite faith leaders and promote international dialogue, renowned Nigerian pastor and author, Dr. Emmanuel Oluwemimo Falodun, will be convening a high-profile global conference on “The Role of Religious Leadership in Politics, War, and Violence.”

The summit, scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, will gather Pastors, Bishops, church founders, and prominent Christian leaders from around the world in the United States for four days of transformative teachings, worship sessions, and strategic discussions.

Dr. Falodun, celebrated worldwide for his scholarly work on leadership and spirituality, is launching the conference to address the urgent intersection of faith, governance, and global peace.

As he explains, “I am organizing this event because our world stands at a moral crossroads—church leaders must rise as voices of conscience, hope, and peacemaking when faced with political tension and violent conflict.” He further clarifies the conference’s purpose: “Our aim is to equip religious leaders with the spiritual tools, ethical frameworks, and collaborative strategies required to foster reconciliation, guide policy with integrity, and stand boldly as agents of healing in divided societies.”

The “Global Leadership Conference” will feature keynote messages and ministrations from eminent Christian figures, drawing church founders and denominational heads from Africa, the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

The agenda includes in-depth sessions on spiritual responses to governance issues, the church’s prophetic voice in times of war, and faith-based strategies for violence prevention and post-conflict healing. Each day will blend theological teachings, interactive panels, and country-focused prayer sessions, culminating in a united call for ethical leadership and reconciliation.

According to Dr. Falodun, “This conference is not just an event, but a movement to reposition the global church as a moral compass in our world. At a historic crossroads, it is imperative that faith leaders rise to speak peace, inspire justice, and empower nations toward healing and prosperity.”

The gathering is also designed to foster international partnerships among Christian networks, enabling leaders to exchange best practices and formulate collaborative approaches to the complex challenges facing their societies.

Registration for the conference is open to international delegates, church leaders, policymakers, and all seeking to advance the role of ethical, visionary leadership in shaping a more peaceful and just world.
