In a heartwarming display of kindness and compassion, international businessmen Mr. Sudeep Ramnani and Mr. Jai Mahtani have once again reached out to Nigerians living with disabilities. On Friday, May 30, 2025, the duo partnered with Pukka Logistics and Support Services Ltd to deliver a welfare package to the Centre for Citizens with Disabilities at their Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos office.

Led by Beulah Akingbelu-Banjo, the welfare team shared a plethora of food items with the centre’s residents, bringing smiles to their faces and hope to their hearts. The outreach is part of an ongoing initiative to support the Nigerian government’s efforts to alleviate hunger and food poverty in the country. Since its inception in March 2024, the outreach has already impacted thousands of Nigerians across several local government areas, with a mission to reach all 774 local government areas in Nigeria.

The gesture was met with profound gratitude from Ms. Florence Chima Austin, representing the Centre for Citizens with Disabilities. “We are deeply touched by your kindness and thoughtfulness,” she expressed. “We advocate for more of such kind gestures in the future, which would go a long way in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities.”

This remarkable display of compassion and kindness is a shining example of the impact one can have on others. Mr. Ramnani and Mr. Mahtani’s selfless act has brought hope and comfort to many, reminding us that even the smallest gestures can make a significant difference in someone’s life. As the outreach continues to make its way across Nigeria, one local government at a time, it serves as a beacon of hope for a brighter future.

The impact of this outreach extends beyond just providing food items; it sends a powerful message of love, care, and inclusivity. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their abilities. As we look to the future, it’s heartening to see individuals like Mr. Ramnani and Mr. Mahtani taking proactive steps to make a positive difference in their communities.

Their efforts are a powerful demonstration of what can be achieved when compassion and kindness come together. As the outreach continues to spread hope and comfort across Nigeria, we can’t help but feel a sense of optimism about the future. With more individuals and organisations joining hands to make a difference, we can create a more inclusive and caring society for all.
