Realtor Launches First of Its Kind Sales Conference to Help Business Owners Generate Revenues

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of African School of Management and realtor, Femi Joshua has launched first of its kind sales conference in Abuja.

Joshua stated that the aim is to help Nigerian businesses to solve sales and management problems.

Speaking on the sidelines shortly after the event, he said: “Being a sales veteran for over 20 years, and as the CEO of African School of Management, a realtor; I have discovered that many companies are still struggling with sales and there have been no sales conference in Nigeria before, we have decided to take this up to help businesses owners decide how to generate their revenue.”

According to him, Sales is the compensation for production, if we are not selling we are not in business. Sales is the life wire of any business so our aim is help companies design strategies on how to increase their revenue.

“This is the first of its kind and we are also planning another training for June in Abuja. Our plan is to make this an annual conference.

“For every participants we have designed strategy to follow up with them, we will have a monitoring mechanism to ensure that the principle learnt here is being practiced.”

He further said: ” We have about 400 participants that have so far being empowered. We plan to also hold a training session strictly for the CEOs to help them transform their businesses.

“My mentor had taught me that I have been empowered to empower others, raised to raise others, motivated to motivate others, I strongly believe in making impact and helping others. This program is funded by the foundation.

“Some of the coaches include, Dr Daniel Moses from United Kingdom, Dr Ogochukwu Odumegwu from Lagos among others.”

Similarly speaking, Dr. Daniel Moses a life coach hinted that many businesses fail because they don’t understand the importance of selling, sales is the bloodline of any business if you can’t sell you are seeing yourself for failure.

“It is important for African businesses to recognise the importance of sales, and nurturing them to increase income generation. The conference is basically about teaching people principles to use to drive in funds into their business.

“The government need to support such initiatives as this so that businesses can grow and thrive,” he asserted.

Also, Ogochukwu Omoh a Business analyst stressed that sales is understanding the needs of people and how to tap into their buying power.

He added that business owners need to develop values on how they can improve the lives of people, build value in the area of competence, leadership, because sale happens at the level of leadership so sales rep must be able to influence people.
