The official announcement was made at Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution’s Q1 Exhibition Showcase, held at Alliance Française, Ikoyi, on February 4, 2025. The event, attended by film distributors, exhibitors, and media representatives, featured an exclusive teaser screening, further fueling excitement for the upcoming season.
According to Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution, the early release is a strategic decision aimed at engaging West African audiences in a unique way. “This is a groundbreaking moment for faith-based entertainment in our region,” the company stated. “Bringing The Chosen to cinemas ahead of the global release shows how much our market is valued.”
