PWAN Max, Kidpreneur Africa to Empower Young Africans in Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship

Property World Africa Network (PWAN) Max Group and Kidpreneur Africa have announced a partnership to empower young people across Africa in financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

The partners, who recently announced the partnership in Lagos, stated that the initiative seeks to equip the next generation of leaders with the essential skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to succeed in a complex and competitive global economy.

They added that through interactive workshops, training sessions, mentorship programmes, competitions, and fun events, they will provide young Africans with hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, financial management, and business leadership.

According to the partners, the African countries to benefit from the programme are Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

The co-founder of PWAN and chairman of PWAN Max Group, Dr Augustine Onwumere, stated that, though PWAN Max Group is a real estate investment company that exists to make homeownership a reality for Nigerians, they believe in the future and potential of young Nigerians and Africans to be successful entrepreneurs through innovative leadership and financial literacy programmes.

“The future of Nigeria in the next 30 years will rely heavily on entrepreneurship, and the earlier we start pushing entrepreneurship backed by real estate, the better the future of Nigeria. It will be my great joy that millions of children are taking the entrepreneurial and real estate world over at a young age at this time,” he said.

Onwumere revealed that their partnership with Kidpreneur Africa is in line with the vision of their Every Child-A-Landlord Project and will be executed through their Childvest Real Estate company, which is a subsidiary of PWAN Max Group.

He stated that the Every Child-A-Landlord Project is an all-in-one programme that combines entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and talent development for children, all within the framework of property ownership.

“This collaboration aims to provide Nigerian and African children with an unparalleled opportunity to gain financial independence through property ownership and entrepreneurial training,” he added.

The founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Kidpreneur Africa, Juliet Vincent-Obi, described her organisation as a social enterprise that provides opportunities for African children to create, grow, and develop business excellence.

Speaking on their partnership with PWAN Max Group, Vincent-Obi stated that the collaboration represents a significant milestone in their mission to promote entrepreneurship education and financial literacy among young Africans.

The Kidpreneur Africa boss said that Childvest is about encouraging parents to understand the need to put their children on the right path of life through early entrepreneurship and land ownership.

“In Kidprenuer Africa, we preach that it is not too early to start entrepreneurship. Through the PWAN Max Group and Childvest partnership, we are also preaching that it is not too early for children to own lands,” she said.

The Business Development Manager of the Every Child-A-Landlord Project, Cyprian Henry Okechukwu, in his comments, said that while PWAN Max Group secures children’s futures with real estate ownership, Kidpreneur Africa nurtures their entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

“Together, we aim to empower and equip over 10,000 children with assets and life skills by 2027, ensuring that the dream of property ownership becomes a reality for every child.”
Okechukwu added that the Every Child-A-Landlord Project offers parents more than land ownership for their children — it sets the foundation for a future trust fund for their children, creating financial security even in uncertain times.

“Beyond education, it lays the foundation for financial independence, setting their children apart from their peers with assets that grow in value over time, including longer and flexible payment plans enabling parents to easily secure valuable property for their children across Nigeria,” he said.

The Kidpreneur Africa boss added that the partnership will commence with a series of workshops, training sessions, and competition events in Nigeria, with plans to expand to other African countries in the near future.

She urged parents to enrol their children on the programme, which will enable them to acquire the skills they need to thrive when they grow into adults and more importantly prepare them for leadership roles in Nigeria and Africa.
