Frank Igbojindu Turns 40: Supports Indigents With Over a Million Naira in School Fees

On January 30, 2025, Dr. Frank Odinaka Igbojindu, the Group Managing Director of Akpoazaa Group and a renowned philanthropist, celebrated his 40th birthday, reflecting on a life dedicated to human development and education.

Dr. Igbojindu expressed his joy in living a fulfilled life and emphasized the happiness he derives from supporting the education of young people. “The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires but in his integrity and his ability to positively affect those around him,” he stated, highlighting his belief that true achievement lies in the impact one has on others.

For over two decades, Dr. Igbojindu has lived by these principles, providing scholarships and training to numerous indigent students. He remarked, “How many young people have you supported in their education? These are the areas where one needs to perform well before being called an achiever.”

Through his initiatives—Akpoazaa Foundation and Best Brain Contest—Dr. Igbojindu has made significant strides in educational support. The Akpoazaa Foundation currently provides scholarships to 87 pupils and students, while Best Brain Contest has helped over 3,000 beneficiaries through partnerships with various organizations.

Reflecting on his journey, Dr. Igbojindu expressed gratitude for reaching this milestone: “I feel fulfilled. I am so grateful to God for keeping me alive until 40. I have lost close friends who didn’t reach this age, and I recognize that I am not better than those who have passed.”

As part of his birthday celebration, Dr. Igbojindu paid over a million Naira in school fees for indigent children across Nigeria, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting his community.

Hailing from Okija in Anambra State, Dr. Igbojindu is also the driving force behind Akpoazaa Event Planners, a leading event and entertainment company in Nigeria. An alumnus of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, he recently earned his PhD in Accountancy and is a fellow of several professional bodies, including the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
