A recent masters degree graduate in Artificial intelligence and data analytics at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, Ifeanyi Madu speaks about using artificial intelligence (AI) to its full potential is essential as Nigeria works to modernise its educational system. According to him, We can make learning more inclusive, efficient, and future-proof by incorporating AI into our educational system.
He highlights the Benefits of AI in Education to be; Personalized Learning: AI-powered adaptive learning systems can personalise educational content based on students’ needs, talents, and learning styles.
Intelligent Tutoring Systems: AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants can help students one-on-one by answering questions and providing real-time feedback.
He also talks about Automated Grading and how AI can help teachers with time-consuming grading tasks, freeing them to focus on more critical aspects of teaching. Another benefit would be Enhanced Accessibility: AI-powered tools can assist students with disabilities, such as visual or hearing impairments, to access educational resources more easily.
