Mohimi: Thank you for having me. My passion for entrepreneurship stems from witnessing its transformative power firsthand. It empowers individuals to not only build fulfilling careers but also create jobs and contribute to the economic landscape. In today’s world, with rising unemployment rates, entrepreneurship presents a viable solution to empower individuals and bridge the employment gap.

How can empowering entrepreneurs specifically help reduce unemployment in the country?

Mohimi: When individuals become entrepreneurs, they not only create their own employment opportunities but also have the potential to hire others. This can have a ripple effect, stimulating job creation and economic growth. Additionally, empowered entrepreneurs often contribute to innovation and the development of new products and services, further driving economic activity.

What are some of the biggest challenges aspiring entrepreneurs face in the country?

Mohimi: Access to capital, mentorship, and navigating complex regulations are some of the major hurdles aspiring entrepreneurs encounter. Additionally, the fear of failure and the lack of a support system can be significant deterrents.

In your experience, what are some key qualities or skills that are essential for aspiring entrepreneurs to succeed?

Mohimi: Tenacity, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt, is crucial. Entrepreneurs need to be resourceful and possess strong problem-solving skills. Additionally, effective communication and the ability to build relationships are essential for navigating the business world.

What advice would you offer to someone considering taking the leap into entrepreneurship?

Mohimi: My first piece of advice is to do your research and develop a solid business plan. Seek out mentors and advisors who can provide guidance and support. Network with other entrepreneurs and learn from their experiences. Most importantly, believe in yourself, your idea, and have the courage to take action.

Mohimi: Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that there will be setbacks and challenges. However, perseverance and the ability to learn from mistakes are critical for success.
