Former Super Eagles midfield enforcer, Waidi Akanni, has received commendations from the management of Lagos State Health Services Commission for his selfless support during the 2023 Inter-Hospital Sports Competition.
The letter of appreciation signed by Dr. Sojinrin M.O, the LOC Chairman of the HSC Inter-Hospital Competition, thanked Waidi Akanni for his generous financial and moral support given towards the success of 2023 HSC Inter-Hospital Competition.
Responding to the letter, Akanni, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Match International Limited and a former Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, reiterated his commitment to the betterment of the society.
“We need to support the government in its different programmes. We want to continue to support and align with the several life-changing programmes of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu,” he concluded.
