The member representing Etsako Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Anamero Dekeri, has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State to be united in their quest at reclaiming power from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming governorship election.
The APC governorship aspirant, who made the call after the submission of his nomination and expression of interest form at the party’s headquarters in Abuja, stressed the need for all party members to put aside their differences and personal ambitions so as to ensure that the APC wins the next governorship election in Edo State.
The federal lawmaker expressed confidence that unity within the APC “will reflect a deep commitment to fostering cohesion and solidarity” as the party ventures into the electoral arena.
Meanwhile, Dekeri has expressed his determination to secure the future of the people if elected governor of Edo State, adding that he has a clear vision for the state’s future and a steadfast commitment to service.
He said he embarked on the journey with optimism, ready to champion the aspirations of the people and steer the state towards prosperity.
The APC hopeful also reiterated his confidence in his ability to secure victory for the party and is poised to engage with constituents across Edo State after the primaries.
“This step underscores the critical importance of ensuring the selection of a candidate who garners widespread acceptance across all three senatorial districts of Edo State,” he said.
