Gbadamosi ThankGod Benard, professionally known as Koboko Master is a Nigerian comedian who has caved a niche for himself. The Ihievbe born humourist explains that God’s direction inspired him into comedy and also because he grew up knowing that he is funny.
Shedding more light on his journey into comedy he expressed that, “I really didn’t grow up in such an organized space where parental consent is needed before career pathway can be chosen, so a lot of things were decided by God and instincts. And comedy is what I have always loved because it gives me the platform to make people happy while making a lot of sense out of the very plenty nonsensical things happening in our todays world.”
Staying creative and running away from unhealthy competition has been how he has maintained his brand over the years. He also stays through to his kind and genre of jokes because as he basically does jokes that are issue based in a bid to entertain, educate and inform.
On his collaborative show, Comedy Bloodline, the comedian said that, “I knew very early in life that collaboration is the new competition and also because what binds us is way bigger than what the ordinary person knows. We have done two super successful editions of our show in ABUJA called COMEDYBLOODLINE and we have June 16th 2024 next year billed for the 3rd edition at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton in ABUJA and I can tell you for free that history will be re-rewritten on that day.”
