How do you balance your roles as an actor, model and movie producer?

It’s not as hard because acting is major, others are secondary. I say secondary because I don’t do them every day like I act. So, whenever I want to produce, I pick a comfortable date and time I know will not clash with any job I have.

What are some of the challenges you faced in the industry and how did you overcome them?

Combining school and career was a major challenge at the time I started but all Glory to God, I scaled through.

What are some of the movies you are most proud of and why?

A Naija Christmas, Arinfesesi, Anikulapo series, The Pedros, to mention a few. I’m proud of these movies because they are progressive in my career. It’s a step ahead, I Haven’t gotten to where I want to be but I am grateful for where I am.

Many veterans languish in their prime. Do you think the industry is lucrative enough?

Well, if you ask me I would say yes because the industry is evolving. As much as I know how the economy is now and I know the pressure public figures face, I also know the industry is lucrative enough provided you’re on the right path.

How do you balance family life and how do you keep the spark alive in your relationship?

Prayer and having an understanding partner help and also try to always create time for your partner whenever you can.

How do you maintain your beauty and fitness routine and what are some of the products or tips you swear by?

It’s God-given. I drink water a lot and I use coconut oil on my skin.

How do you deal with fame and criticism and what are some of the misconceptions people have about you?

For me, I believe life is beyond fame; it’s a privilege to be famous and as such, I see such a platform as an opportunity to positively influence my society. As for criticism, I believe in constructive criticism as a means of development and growth. However, other forms of criticism don’t get to me at all.  Misconceptions are inevitable because people are entitled to their personal opinions which are beyond my control. However, I don’t like the fact that everyone has a negative perception of actors. While I understand some have spoilt our reputation in the past, the truth is we all aren’t the same.

What are some of the projects you are working on currently or planning to work on in the future?

My movie ‘Aditu’ is coming out in November. It features amazing actors like Mama Idowu Phillips (Iya Rainbow), Odunlade Adekola, Kunle Afod, among others. I’m also preparing to shoot my cinema debut in November by God’s Grace.

What are some of your goals and aspirations as an actor and a producer? What do you want to be known for as a producer?

I want to be known for naturalism, quality movies, and top-notch stories. I want to create a niche for myself to a point where you all watch any movie I produce or star in because “Oyindamola Sanni” is there.

Tell us about your role in the forthcoming Anikulapo 2

I’m sorry I’d pass on this because my role is a spoiler and I cannot disclose. I just want y’all to anticipate it, it’s 3 times better than the first one, I won’t say too much, I’ll let the project speak for itself.

How many movies have you produced and what lessons have you learnt from them to make better movies?

Nine movies and I’m shooting the 10th one next month. I’ve learnt to keep getting better hence the reason this 10th production is my cinema movie debut.

What should we expect from this cinema movie?

Expect the best because this project is a masterpiece. The story is everything and more, very emotional, captivating, dramatic, and very relatable.
