President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with the former Minister of Internal Affairs and His Royal Highness, Etsu Nyagba Kingdom in Niger State, Major General Abdullahi Mamman (rtd), as he celebrated his 80th birthday anniversary.
Buhari, in a congratulatory message that was issued yesterday by his Media Adviser, Mr. Femi Adesina, offered his best wishes to the traditional ruler and member of the defunct Armed Forces Ruling Council (AFRC) on the occasion of his birthday.
He recognised Mamman’s strong sense of duty and service to Nigeria throughout the length of his career as a military officer that distinguished him as a courageous and dependable commander at various levels as a troop and brigade commander to the commander, Corps of Artillery and commandant, Command and Staff College, Jaji.
He applauded the elder statesman for bringing his many years of experience as a military officer, businessman and administrator to bear in handling the affairs of his community, working tirelessly to promote peace, prosperity and social cohesion.
The President prayed God Almighty to bless the traditional ruler with more years of health and happiness.
