The Lagos State Government has discharged 56 additional COVID-19 patients from its isolation centres, bringing to 1897 the number of successfully treated persons in the state.
Announcing this Sunday, the Incident Commander on COVID-19 in Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said 44 of the patients were males, while 12 were females.
He said: “Among the discharged are nine foreign nationals. 25 were discharged from Gbagada, 15 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), eight from Eti-Osa, five from Agidingbi and three from Onikan isolation centres.
“This brings to 1897, the number of COVID-19 cases that have been successfully managed and discharged from Lagos isolation centres,” he said
