The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the nomination of Mr. Kingsley Chinda as the Chairman of the Edo State Governorship Screening Committee.
Other members of the screening committee are Mr. Oladimeji Fabiyi, Senator Joy Emordi, Mrs. Aishat Hasinduanf and Mr. Boyele Debekeme who woud serve as the committee’s secretary.
A statement issued by the National Organising Secretary of PDP, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd), said the exercise is scheduled for today, Friday, June 5, 2020 at the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The time for the screening exercise is 10:00 a.m. prompt.
More than three members of the party have bought and returned the governorship nomination form. They include Mr. Omorege Ogbide Ihama and Mr. Gideon Ikhine.
Others have not returned their completed governorship forms for the screening exercise as at the time of this report.
