Senate in Closed-door Session

The Senate on Thursday resumed plenary and immediately went into closed-door session.

The Senate President, Dr Ahmad Lawan, and other principal officers were led into the chambers by the Sergeant-at-arms at about 10.20am.

After saying the opening prayer, Lawan announced that the Senate will go into an executive session at the end of which what transpired will be summarised by the Senate President.
