Governor Shettima gave the assurance yesterday during the closing ceremony of the 2018 Batch ‘B’ orientation course at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) training college, Katsina.
The Katsina NSCDC training college served as the temporary orientation camp for corps members posted to the state due to security challenges affecting the state.

He said, “to ensure your security, the state government in collaboration with all the security agencies and traditional institutions has put in place adequate security arrangements with the necessary apparatus to guarantee your stay during the year”.

“Borno state is now peaceful. I urge you to come and serve in the state in order to contribute your quota towards the reconstruction and resettlement programme initiated by the state government to restore the peaceful co-existence  and commercial activities of the state”.
