Senator Dino Melaye Wednesday returned to the Senate and attended plenary, the first time in several weeks following his battle with the police over allegation of gun-running.
Dino, who is representing Kogi West, arrived at the Senate some minutes after 11am accompanied by his supporters.

Wearing a cervical collar on his neck and using a walking stick to aid his movement, Dino during the plenary session came under Order 14Â to inform his colleagues that there were attempts on his life while he was in police custody.

The senator alleged that police attempted to kill him twice with a lethal injection.
