The management of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club (LLTC) has denied having any relationship with Absolute Lagos (Lounge), the venue of the meeting of a faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held in Lagos recently.
The Publicity Secretary of LLTC, Kunle Oyekanmi, in a statement yesterday, stated that Absolute Lounge is the club’s tenant and does not have any connection whatsoever with its management.
According to him, “We wish to disclaim our name in the write up published in THISDAY Newspaper of Wednesday 28, February, 2018, captioned, ‘Lagos APC splits as faction forms Rival Group.’ Absolute Lagos (Lounge), the venue of the meeting is the club’s tenant, and it does not have any relationship or connection with the management of Lagos Lawn Tennis Club.â€
He stressed that the LLTC is a recreational sporting and non-political club.
