FCBescola Football Club Begins Rigorous Trainings in Lagos

The elite FCBESCOLA, Lagos, now running two well-equipped training facilities, at Tesslim Balogun Stadium and Children International School all in Lagos, has assured Nigerian children who have passion for football an opportunity to display their talents.

In a statement made available to THISDAY to kick off the 2017/2018 season second term first training session, the school’s Technical Director, Bernat Villa, said that there was a lot of work to be done to develop and grow the already discovered robust talents, with the goal to make them great people and most importantly make Nigeria proud.

“As promised during the Parents Forum at the beginning of the season, the soccer school is working hard, preparing in all departments of the game to explore and conquer the global sphere of the sport by participating in frontline and reputable world class competitive and exhibition tournaments. Such tournaments are: Escola International Tournament, for all Escolas world-wide and the Mediterranean International Cup both coming up in March in Barcelona, Spain,” he said.

According to Villa, in FCBESCOLA Lagos – aside other goals, corporate or personal – their aim is to conquer the world and make Nigeria proud at the international level.
He spoke further: “To achieve this, we must work better at every training period no matter how small the time is, knowing the difference one second can make in a match.”
In another development, the Chairman, Blaugrana International Group and promoters of the school, Leslie Oghomienor, said he had a sense of fulfillment seeing the children becoming better as they trained.

With the full conviction that in the shortest possible time, great stars, legends and eminent leaders will come from this place, the chairman noted that every child male or female deserved to be helped to develop his or her God given talent or talents.
Oghomienor assured further that he could give any good thing, to see these young children actualise their dream “Ours is to make space available, conducive and accessible, supporting and helping them live their dreams. Government cannot do it all.”

Therefore, he assured that Blaugrana Group International would not rest until all young, energetic and gifted persons, irrespective of gender – who are interested and passionate about developing themselves – are well guided and given the proper direction and opportunity.
“The trials session to discover more talents especially for females is ongoing at the two campus of the academy,” he said.
