Striking NAFDAC Workers Give Conditions

Striking Workers of the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) under the aegis of the Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) have called on the Federal government to urgently address their six grievances before they could call off their industrial action embarked upon on Friday.  At a joint press conference at the NAFDAC Office, Iyana Isolo, Lagos, on Friday, Lagos State Chairman and Secretary of MHWUN, Ibrahim Attah Isah and Ibrahim Bashir, respectively, stated that the workers had to embark on an indefinite strike action as a result of the failure on the part of the Federal government to implement several issues that were not adequately addressed during a joint meeting held on September 13, 2017.
