Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos is holding a special Valentine’s Day dining experience for couples across six restaurants within the hotel on Tuesday.

The diverse country-themed dishes will “transport” partakers to different countries through culinary experiences unique to them. The Sky Restaurant is a fusion of French and Asian cuisine, the Grill Steakhouse is American, Red Restaurant is Chinese, Crossroads is Mexican, 1415 restaurant at Eko Signature is Italian, while the Lagoon Breeze restaurant offers continental dishes.

Each restaurant has special Valentine deals unique to them, which are priced accordingly. They range from buffet-style candlelight dinner for two by the pool, to in-room dining at Signature with a butler on hand.

The common thread running through all restaurant packages include multiple-course candlelit dinners, complimentary glasses of wine or champagne (or in the case of Crossroads, free magaritas and tequilas) and probably the most exciting of all, a surprise gift for the lady.

Each restaurant has a unique gastronomic experience awaiting guests. For example Eko Signature’s Giaocchino Liguori revealed that a special exotic dessert known as D’amore will be served courtesy head pastry chef, Abdallah Outa. D ‘amore was created to evoke the memory of cupid, the messenger of love.

Shedding more light on what couples should expect at Eko, Sales and Marketing Manager, Iyadunni Gbadebo added, “We have the Spa and they have put together something beautiful for Valentine’s. We are going to have room packages available with massages. It will fun. We advise couples to book ahead.”

According to Gbadebo, lovers will experience luxurious French style relaxation and unique holistic body therapy courtesy Eko Spa.
