Firm Fetes Community at Yuletide 

In the spirit of the Yuletide season, Power Oil Health Camp team has berthed in some communities in Mbaitoli Local Government Council of  Imo State to make the season a memorable one for them.

The team engaged the indigenes in a comprehensive medical check up to ascertain their health conditions especially the heart, with a health talk to sensitise the people on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.

Speaking at the occasion, the firm’s Brand Manager, Disha Argawal noted that it was imperative to continually engage Nigerians on sensitisation and awareness programme that would keep them informed on basic health issues and lifestyle to adopt to achieve and maintain a healthy life. 

Continuing, the Public Relations Manager of Power Oil, Omotayo Azeez, stated that “In this period, we want as many people as possible to benefit from the company’s medical outreach. Presently, the health camp exercise is currently ongoing in all other eight locations pan Nigeria, holding six times a week throughout the year. We believe that as people become aware of their health status, it will help them plan better and live healthy into the New Year. Commending the initiative, the traditional Prime Minister of the hosting community, Chief Enwere  Iweka, representing the Igwe, His Royal Majesty, George Ekeh, tasked the organisation to sustain the initiative which had educated the  people at no cost. 

He added, “The sensitisation talk came in very handy as it opened the eyes of many people who hitherto  had little knowledge about ways to stay healthy particularly as its concerns  their eating  habit”.

The Power Oil Health Camp exercise is a daily and ongoing activity in nine locations pan Nigeria.it had so far visited Moniya Community in Ibadan, Mariri Community, Kumbotso, Kano State, Tunge-Maje Community, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Iyana Ipaja  and NYSC Orientation Camp in Lagos among others.

Some other health focused initiatives of the firm include: the annual Power Oil Walk-Heart -on & Pay with Calories which held its third annual edition recently in three locations.
