Olayinka: PDP’ll Use National Convention to Resolve Differences

Special Assistant on Social Media and Communications to Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state, Mr Lere Olayinka, has said the Peoples Democratic Party would use the Port Harcourt National Convention to resolve its differences and reposition the party to win the 2019 general elections.
Olayinka, who is contesting for the post of National Publicity Secretary, told journalists in Port Harcourt on Friday that if elected, he would market the party to the people.
He said that as the party’s chief image maker, he would make Nigerians to better appreciate the PDP as the party that truly cares for the people.
Olayinka said that the party had received bad image and that he would strive to change that perception.
“I want to bring new ideas. I want to market PDP. I want people to know the real PDP. People had been made to believe that PDP is several things which the party really is not. I want to disabuse the minds of the people,” he said.
