Former Niger PDP Chairman, Tanko Beji, Joins APC

Immediate past chairman of the Niger State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Tanko Beji, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Beji, a two-term chairman of the party personally confirmed his defection to THISDAY on yesterday.

“Yes, it is true I have joined the APC,” he declared on phone but did not give reason for his departure from the PDP.

Beji was at various times the state secretary, vice chairman, legal adviser and youth leader of the party.

After the state congress of the party last year, Beji went on political holidays.
