2027: I Consider My Nomination a Renewed Call to Service, Declares Jigawa Dep. Gov

The Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Aminu Usman, has described his nomination as running mate to Governor Umar Namadi, for the 2027 governorship election as a renewed call to service and responsibility to the people of the state.

Usman stated this during an interaction with members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Jigawa State Council, where he expressed appreciation to Governor Namadi for the confidence reposed in him by selecting him to serve alongside him for another term.

The deputy governor said the nomination was not only an honour but also a responsibility that required sincerity, humility and dedication to the people of the state.

“I consider this nomination not only a great honour, but also a renewed call to service and responsibility to the good people of Jigawa State.

“I remain profoundly grateful to His Excellency, the Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, for the confidence and trust he continually has in me,” he said.
