Eko Heritage Awards 2026: Mayor Frosh, Husband Material among Winners

Mayor Frosh and Husband Material were among the winners at the sixth edition of the Eko Heritage Awards held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The ceremony recognised individuals and organisations across media, business, entertainment, arts and humanitarian work. Media personality Lexie Armani hosted the event.
Several honourary and special recognition awards were presented during the ceremony.

Wake Up Nigeria won Best Family Breakfast Show, while Milez received the Best TV Program Producer award. Spotlight PR was named PR Brand of the Year, and Joseph and Emmanuel Okon received the Youth Excellence Award.

Other recipients included Dickson Aligbe for the Global Humanitarian Award, Dr. Mbamalu Valentine for Business Excellence, and Odunola Abayomi, who received the Most Influential Personality of the Year Award.
Adebola Williams was honoured with the Eko Leadership Award in Youth and Empowerment, while Prince Temiloluwa Bayode and Adetoun Onajobi received humanitarian recognition awards.

In the arts and entertainment categories, DJ Kelblizz received the Music Industry Impact Award, Donny Crown won Breakthrough Artiste of the Year, and Olamide Phillips, popularly known as Olamide Sax, was named Eko Best Instrumentalist of the Year. Aduragbemi Adekoya was recognised for Outstanding Contribution to Cultural Dance and Choreography.

The voted categories also produced winners across different sectors. Mayor Frosh won Eko Media Personality, while Husband Material emerged as one of the winners in the Eko Podcaster category alongside Missy Alice. Samuel Banks received the Eko Social Content Creator award, Jennifer Oseh won Eko Fashion Influencer, and DJ Yinx was named Eko Disc Jockey.

Other winners included Goldit Event Solutions for Eko Events Planner, Afari Travels and Tours for Eko Travels Agency, Bosslady Hairline for Eko Hairstylist, Hogan Host for Eko Web Hosting Company, and Mobola Bajomo for Eko Realtor.

In the visual arts categories, Halimah Badmus won Eko Outstanding Contemporary Artist of the Year in Pottery and Clay, Gideon Abowha received the award for Painting and Mixed Media, while Umar Abdulrasheed was recognised as Eko Outstanding Visual Artist of the Year in Ceramic and Sculpture.
